At Hudson Media Collective (HMC), our mission is to transform the entertainment and publishing industries by centering the power where it belongs — with the creators. We exist to ensure that authors, filmmakers, and storytellers retain ownership over their ideas, freedom over their process, and equity in their success.

We are not a traditional publisher. We are not a typical production company.
We are a creator-first platform designed to bridge the gap between indie freedom and studio-grade infrastructure.

In a media landscape where creators are often forced to trade their vision for visibility or their rights for resources, HMC sets a new standard, one where talent is not traded for control, and where success does not require surrendering autonomy. We believe creators should not have to choose between creative freedom and commercial excellence. At HMC, they get both.

Publishing Division:

A New Model for Modern Authors

Our publishing model is built to mirror the freedom of self-publishing, but with the support of a full-service creative studio. Authors who publish through HMC can earn up to 90% net profit, maintaining the financial upside of going solo while gaining access to elite editorial, design, and marketing resources, all on their terms.

Writers choose how much of our team they want to use, or whether they bring their own. We adapt to the creator’s needs, never the other way around. There are no one-size-fits-all packages or top-down editorial mandates. At every step, the author’s voice leads the process, and our role is to empower the outcome.

Production Division:

Full-Scale Support, Creator-Led Vision

In film and media, HMC functions as a true production partner. From scheduling, permitting, and budgeting to crew staffing, location scouting, casting, and post-production, we provide end-to-end infrastructure while always deferring to the creator’s vision. Whether a filmmaker chooses to serve as the writer, producer, director, or simply the originator of the idea, HMC ensures they maintain meaningful authorship and final say over all core decisions.

Creators are not just “brought on,” they are placed at the center of every production. Regardless of their level of on-set involvement, they are appropriately credited, compensated, and protected as the project’s originator. Our production model is designed for collaboration, not control.
